what are your views on this laptop, sony vaio VGN CR353 i am planning to get this laptop?
Some say its not good and that u it will give problems after some time. is it any good? it looks really cool? is it expensive to maintain one as in after warranty, if there is a problem, will it be too costly to repair? following are the specs.
1) CPU ==> Intel centrino processor technology intel core 2 duo processor T8100 (2.10GHz)
( cpu speed will be reduced under certain conditions, and intel virtualization is not supported on vaio)
2) Drive ==> DVD RW + R, DL/RAM Drive, DVD +RW, DVD-RW, DVD ROM, DVD RAM, CD-ROM, CD-R CD-RW
3) Hard disk ==> 250 GB
4) Memory ==> 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM (upgradeable to 4GB)
5) Graphics ==>ATI Mobility radeon X2300
6) OS ==> Genuine windows vista home premium
7) display ==> 14.1" wide (WXGA : 1280 * 800)
Display type ==> TFT colour display (clear bright LCD Lite)
9) wireless Lan ==> Integrated wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g Draft n
10) wireless ==> Bluetooth standard version 2.0 +EDR
11) Camera ==> Effective pixels 1280 * 1024 1.3Mp
Id say those specs are about average for a laptop. you might want to get a laptop with a 15.4 inch screen instead. and get 3 gigs of memory, seeing as OEM computers are often bundled with "crapware" (offers, trials, demos, etc.) and sometimes even processes that sit in the background eating up resources. so go with 3 gigs of RAM. and personally I wouldn't go with a sony vaio, they're expensive, but other than that, the specs look pretty good. but if you used it for gaming it wouldnt do that well.
