How can I fix laptop screen scrambling when displaying dark colors?
Laptop LCD screen scrambles, horizontal lines, when there is dark colors dominating display.Appears to radiate out from middle line of screen. I can turn up brightness and gamma and turn down contrast to help but would prefer a permanent fix. I have hooked up to external monitor and have no issues that way. All drivers up to date.
If you can’t find the right HP drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
