Tecra s1 laptop, beep but never boot and screen remain black?
Dear all,
My tecra S1 toshiba laptop, when i press the power switch, the power on LED goes ON, but the laptop never starts or boots and the lcd remains black and there is 2 small beep them 1 long beep then pause a little after that 3 small beeps, then repeat all over again.
Plz help, is it the motherboard is having a problem and needs to be replaced.
Possibly battery and power supply or both. How long does it repeat the beeps? If it does it for a few seconds then stops, it could mean a dead adapter
