Why won't Tiger 10.4 install on my Apple Mac computer?
I recently got a Mac computer - G4, but am use to windows.It came with Panther 10.3 and thats installed fine,bought Tiger 10.4,as i've also got Logic Express software,which says i need Tiger 10.4 at least to install.I've put the disk in,and it comes up with the option to install which i click, and then it says it will have to restart comp etc,so the computer restarts and comes back on with a screen full of writing that doesnt make any sense,sort of black screen with white writing,and i can see behind that it has the apple logo and says please restart the computer. I've tried restarting it again,but it keeps coming up with the same screen with writing,and if i leave it, it just stays the same.Has anyone had this problem before? Or can anyone please help me install Tiger 10.4? I just really want to get onand start using Logic Express and this is really annoying me now. As I said,i''m not use to Mac this is my first- i've always used windows. Any help,much appreciated.
