More Mhz Laptop Results At Bottom Of The Page
I accidently bought a 1 GB pc2-5300 ddr2 667 mhz memory.But per manual, laptop requires pc2-4200 ddr2 533 mhz.
will the pc2-5300 ddr3 667 mhz work inplace of pc2-4200 ddr2 533 mhz? if yes, then will increase my laptop's speed? i have a toshiba, m105-s3041. XP.
Memory
• Configured with 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (both memory slots may be occupied)
• 256MB(min)/4096MB (max), 2 memory slots using 256MB, 512MB, 1024MB or 2048MB PC4200 533MHz or PC5300 677MHz DDR2 SDRAM, dual-channel support requires two memory modules of same capacity and clockspeed.
IT CAN WORK, AS LONG AS BOTH OF THEM ARE DDR2, THE 667 MHz WILL RUN TO THE CURRENT LOWER SPEED WHICH IS 533MHz
