More Notebook Netbook Tablet Results At Bottom Of The Page
What cheap netbook or lightweight, portable PC can handle Adobe Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 9?
I have a large Mac Book with Photoshop CS, Flash CS, Ilustrator CS, Sketchbook pro, and many other fixin's that work with a Tablet for all my Digital art needs, but the things heavy especially with the large tablet on travels. And before I got the Mac Book, I had an old PC(not a notebook) when I was a kid and all my relatives and friends gave me some old but very helpful adobe software that helped inspire me and start my art career as I was growing up. I hate to see all that love get thrown away, and it's only for travels with a smaller drawing tablet. Can ya'll help me out? Please?
Adobe programs aren't suitable for netbooks. Their screen resolutions are too small, and their processors not powerful enough. There are some other paint programs that might work fine, but they are usually a big step down from Photoshop.
Stick with a full-size laptop that has at least 2GB of RAM. A multi-core processor would definitely help, but most any non-Atom choice will do. Celerons and Semprons are also on the weak side, but manageable.
A MacBook Air might suffice if you have the budget.
