More Fan Heatsink Dell Results At Bottom Of The Page
Replacing my computer's fan and heatsink?
I currently have a Dell studio xps with windows i7 installed. I wanted to replace my fan and heatsink for the best possible performance but i'm not sure which one to buy and which one is compatible with my computer.

Will this fan and heatsink work with my computer? I've opened up the case of my computer and unscrewed the actual heatsink itself and saw that it needed 4 screws to come off. How can i determine the size of the heatsink/fan to make sure it'll fit?

What's the socket type of your motherboard? What's the cpu you have in your dell? Just make sure the heatsink/fan fits the socket of your motherboard, LGA 775/1366/1155. Then calculate how much space you have in your case and check the product's dimensions.
I have a Hyper 212+ as well and its quite big. Depending on your mobo, it might even cover a dimm slot or be VERY close to it.
