More Wifi Windows Green Results At Bottom Of The Page
How do I compare strenght of wifi signals in Windows Vista?
I would like to compare the wifi signals of my internal wifi adapter and of my expresscard D-link. Pictures of both are shown at http://cid-ba847b8bd34177b1.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!BA847B8BD34177B1!133/
On the dell internal wifi, I see a speed of 48 Mbps and 4 green bars. And on the D-link expresscard, I see a speed of 54 Mbps and 3 green bars. So I don't know which one is faster.
Can you give me the download link of your sofware in your response please?
You would need WiFi Spectrum Analyzer software. Most of this software isn't cheap because it is usually used for analyzing expensive equipment and pointing out "dead zones" in a corporate WiFi atmosphere.
I have yet to see any decent free software solutions to help achieve this but it may be worth the time to do some research. If money is no problem, than you may want to check out something like Wi-Spy or AnalyzeAir.
